I'm a former professional athlete and I started a company based on my personal experience with financial advisors. I've discovered that athletes have two retirements and the financial industry has a broad single meaning retirement for age 65. The problem I found in the financial industry is that traditional financial advisors plan for the wrong retirement with athletes. They overlook or are unaware of the 1st retirement challenges when athletes end their sports career and this is where all of their financial challenges occur.
