Mark Description:
The mark consists of three concentric circles. The outer circle is bordered and contains the wording THE CHAINE FOUNDATION around the top part of the circle with the wording USA around the bottom part of the circle with a small circle on either side of it. An inner bordered circle appears within the outer circle and has a link chain bordering the inner and outer rim of the circle with the words CHAINE DES ROTISSEURS appearing around the top part of the circle and numerals 1248 - 1950 around the bottom part of the circle. A small line on each side of the wording separates the wording from the numerals. Within this circle is an innermost circle within which appears a shield with three fleur-de-lis designs at the top of the shield and four fleur-de-lis designs on each side, each outside of the shield and within the innermost circle. The shield includes a design of crossed diagonal lines representing roasting spits with four triangular shapes representing larding needles in the spaces formed by crossed lines.
