The mark consists of an oval outlined with black, which is divided horizontally into two sections. The top section is orange and the bottom section is black. The orange section is larger than the black section, as the dividing line is below center in the oval. In the orange section appears the word "GEEK" in black. In the black section appears the word "SQUAD" in white. The font used for "GEEK" is taller and thinner, is in italics, and the "G" is capitalized. The font used for "SQUAD" is shorter and thicker than "GEEK" and "SQUAD" is in lower case letters. The "q" in "SQUAD" is set higher than the other letters so that the tail part of the "q" is in line horizontally with the bottom of all the letters in "squad".
