Mark Description:

The mark consists of an outer circle as a single line. This circle represents a globe or sphere. The three-dimensional globe or spherical aspect may be represented with a total of 4 lines within the circle: two of which are concentric semi-circles positioned in the top half of the outer circle with the ends pointed downward; one of which is a semicircle positioned in the bottom half of the outer circle with ends pointing upwards; and one of which is a semicircle connected at one end to a waved line. The principle feature of the design is the image of a neuron confined within the outer circle or sphere. The neuron may be represented by a single outline. The neuron is composed a central neuron cell body attached to several dendritic extensions and attached to one axon. The central neuron body is positioned in the top half of the outer circle. The central neuron body has dendritic extensions pointing outward from the central neuron body. The central neuron body also has one axon extension which extends downward and which is thicker than the dendritic extensions. The axon extension also has a few short and small extensions at its end, and along its length may be surrounded by repeating bulges, each of which is approximately twice as long as it is wide, representing natural myelin insulation. The number of primary dendritic branches is approximately 6, and each primary dendritic branch may have several secondary dendritic branches extending from each primary branch.
