Mark Description:
The mark consists of the phrase "THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" in black letters, arched above all the other elements of the mark. The middle of the mark consists of four concentric rings in black, red, white and blue, surrounding a gold circle. The gold circle contains a map of Vietnam in solid black, with dotted black lines outlining Cambodia, Laos and Thailand. The blue ring contains seven evenly-spaced five-pointed white stars. A stylized laurel wreath in green appears to the left and right of the rings. Superimposed at the top of the rings is a representation of the Vietnam Service Ribbon, consisting of a horizontal gold rectangle outlined in black, with a narrow green stripe at each end of the rectangle and three narrow red stripes in the center. Superimposed at the bottom of the rings is a gold banner enclosing the words "VIETNAM WAR" in black letters, with the word "COMMEMORATION" in black letters below the banner.
