Mark Description:
The mark consists of a circle with a thick black border and a white inner border. Under the white inner border is a dark slate blue circular band with the white wording "WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA 1982" and the designs of two white snowflakes therein. Under the dark slate blue band is a white circular band with black edges and with the black wording "OMNIS ARBOR BONA FRUCTUS BONOS FACIT" and with a white snowflake design outlined in black therein. The background of the innermost part of the circle is white and contains the design of a grapevine with leaves and three bunches of grapes. The vines are outlined in black. The interior of the left-most and right-most vines are black, and the vine branch center-most in the mark is black. The rest of the vines have a white interior. The grapes and leaves are white with black outlines. However, the veins of the leaves are gray. There are two generally ovular designs with a few lines emanating there from under the tree, and they are black. The remainder of the white in the drawing represents transparent or background areas only and is not part of the mark.
